Aubenas Storms
Airbnb.org is providing free emergency housing for people who have been displaced by severe storms and hail in the Ardèche region of France, in partnership with the Mairie d'Aubenas, who is helping identify residents in need and connect them with free emergency housing through the local host community.On Wednesday, July 15, an intense storm system brought violent rain and hail to the Aubenas, Vals-les-Bains, and Lalevade-d'Ardèche areas. Large hail caused extensive damage to homes, roofs, and vehicles, and triggered flash flooding across the region. Residents impacted by the storms can directly apply for housing if their primary home is in a mandatory evacuation zone, and we can verify your identity. You must have an Airbnb account to verify your identity, if you don't have one you can create one here. If you have an evacuation notice or an evacuation warning, you are not currently eligible for emergency housing through Airbnb.org.

If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with Aircover for each booking.
